Amelia: still Amelia to us

You probably know the history. Amelia voters chose to dissolve the village in November 2019, and the area was split between Pierce Township and Batavia Township along State Route 125. On paper the village is gone. But the Amelia post office, the Amelia address and the Amelia community are still very much here.

We serve both sides of SR 125:

• Pierce Township neighborhoods (the larger share of former Amelia)
• Batavia Township neighborhoods (the rest of former Amelia)
• Surrounding areas toward New Richmond, Withamsville and Batavia

However your address reads, if it says Amelia, we come to you.

Bathroom services in Amelia

• Bathroom renovations for when the whole room is due

A bathroom that fits this stage of life

Many Amelia homeowners we meet are long-time residents who plan to stay put. Others are adult children who live nearby and have noticed Mom or Dad hesitating at the edge of the tub.

A walk-in shower solves the biggest everyday risk in the house, climbing over a tub wall, without making your bathroom look clinical. We choose finishes and fixtures that match your style. See our aging-in-place bathrooms page for ideas.

What install day looks like

• Day 1: We remove the old tub, check the plumbing and subfloor, and set the new shower base.
• Day 2: Walls, fixtures, seat, grab bars and door go in. We clean up and walk you through everything.

Older homes or extra repairs can add time, and we'll tell you before we start.

Price and timeline

• Walk-in shower and tub-to-shower conversions start at $9,600 with the Pioneer wall system
• Most jobs take about two days. That matters a lot if you only have one bathroom.
• Clear written quote, no high-pressure sales
