From first call to finished shower

No surprises. Here is how it goes, from your first call to the final walk-through, so you know what to expect.

From first call to finished shower

Six simple steps. There is no pressure at any point.

  1. Dawson reaches out with a cost idea

Call or text Dawson at (513) 582-6048 for a rough idea of cost, or try the price tool on this site at your own pace. No pressure either way.

  2. Chris comes out to measure

Chris visits your home, measures, shows you samples and answers your questions. You decide what you like, and you decide how fast we go.

  3. You receive your quote from Dawson

Dawson puts your quote together and sends it to you. Take your time with it. Compare it with others if you like.

  4. You accept, and we order your materials

When you are ready to go ahead, we order your wall panels, shower pan and fixtures.

  5. We get you on the schedule

We pick an install date that works for you and let you know what to expect.

  6. Derek and Randy arrive and install

Our installers arrive, protect your home and build your new shower. Installs typically take about two days.

Install day, step by step

Installs typically take about two days. Every bathroom is a little different.

  1. 1Arrival

    Derek and Randy arrive

They go over the job with you and confirm the materials.

  2. 2Protect your home

    Drop cloths go down

Drop cloths protect your floors and the path through your home. We also locate your main water shut-off. It helps if you already know where yours is.

  3. 3Demo

    Out with the old

We remove the old tub or shower and haul the debris out to our trailer.

  4. 4Plumbing

    New plumbing, all of it

We open up access to the plumbing and run all new plumbing.

  5. 5Repairs

    Needed repairs

We make the repairs that need making, such as the subfloor or a small amount of mold. Anything beyond our scope needs a professional, and we will tell you plainly if we see something like that.

  6. 6Day 1 test

Leak test before we close it up

We test the plumbing for leaks on day one, before the shower pan goes in and before the walls go up.

A typical Day 1Demo, new plumbing, plumbing tested, shower pan set, and backer board.
A typical Day 2Wall panels, then accessories (niches, grab bars, seat and door), caulk, and cleanup. Cleanup means we take the drop cloths, clean inside, and clean outside too if we made a mess.

The final walk-through

We run the shower with you and confirm there are no leaks. Then you ask us anything you like.

When can I shower?

Typically about 24 hours after we finish. We will confirm for your shower before we leave.

Protecting your home

  • Drop cloths down before work starts
  • Old materials hauled away to our trailer
  • We clean inside, and outside if we made a mess, before we leave
“I highly recommend Blessed Bath Co. to replace an old tub and shower with a walk in shower. They were very responsive to our needs and the price was right. Derek and Randy did a great job and it took less than a day and a half to accomplish this feat.”
