How much does a walk-in shower cost?

How long does it take?
Installs typically take about two days. We will go over the schedule with you before we start.
What comes with every shower?
The wall system, a new shower pan, and a Moen valve and showerhead. You pick the rest: grab bars, corner shelves, niches, a seat and a door.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every shower we build comes with our lifetime leak warranty. The wall system is also backed by the manufacturer's own warranty. Ask us any questions about coverage at your visit.
What don't you do?
- We can replace a light fixture, but we don't move electrical or light locations.
- We don't do drywall or paint work.
- We don't move your bathroom's floor plan around.

I only have one bathroom. Is that a problem?
No. It is very common. Because most installs take about two days, you are only briefly without a shower.
Does Medicare cover walk-in showers?
Original Medicare generally does not. Some Medicare Advantage plans offer limited bathroom-safety benefits, so check your plan. Clermont County residents 60+ can ask Clermont Senior Services about its Home Safety Repair Program.

When can I use my new shower?
Typically about 24 hours after we finish. At the walk-through, we run the shower with you to confirm there are no leaks.
Do you do tub-to-shower conversions?
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. We take out the old bathtub and build a low step-in walk-in shower in its place. It still looks like a beautiful, modern bathroom, not a hospital room.

Should I get a walk-in shower or a tub shower?
If stepping over a tub wall is getting harder, or you rarely take baths, a walk-in shower with a low step-in is usually the better fit. If you want to keep a bathtub, a tub shower is a new tub with new grout-free walls and starts at $10,000. We are happy to talk it through with you, with no pressure.
What makes a shower safer for older adults?
A low step-in instead of a tall tub wall, a seat, grab bars where you want support, and a handheld showerhead. We pick them to blend in, so the bathroom looks great and does not look medical.
Is a walk-in shower the same as a curbless shower?
Ours are built with a low step-in rather than a tall tub wall. What fits best depends on your bathroom, so talk with us at your visit and we will tell you what we recommend.
Can I choose my colors and finishes?
Yes. You pick your wall look, your door and your extras in our Build Your Shower tool. Chris visits to measure and help you choose colors, and metal finishes include chrome, brushed nickel and matte black.
